When I first read this and saw that this was in Connecticut, I was floored. To see this coach lay it on the line like this was something else. Coach John Krupinsky was to have no garbage from the students. Here's what he had to say.
“We’re not women’s soccer,” he told the team in a locker room heart-to-heart. “We’re not the NFL.” If there’s anybody here who is going to be disrespectful to either the American or the Canadian national anthem, grab your gear and get the f**k out now because you’ll never see the ice in this arena,” he said. “We don’t have that problem in hockey. We’re better than that, but there was no sense in wasting anybody’s time if that sh*t was going to happen.”
In closing I can only repeat what Sean Hannity always says.
