09-07-2019- Clown Show coming to Youngstown?- Youngstown in consideration for October Democratic debate

I still remember Paul Revere's famous words. The Democrats are coming.  The Democrats are coming. Stand to arms Ohio the Democrats are coming.  OK I changed the words and timeline.  But it is true.  This October the circus is coming to town, maybe.  It was announced that the October debate would be in Ohio.  Youngstown and Dayton are the two cities mentioned.

Dayton doesn't make sense.  Sure the shooting there and we could here and read all the sob stories.  But really?  Who cares?  We aren't going to see the left's version of gun control anytime soon.  Youngstown is a different story.

Without the tri-county area, Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiania county you don't win Ohio.  Has always been 65% Democrat statewide and nationally.  Locally about 90% Democrat.  2016 it changed.  Trump took Trumbull and Columbiana counties. He also got 47% in Mahoning county.  So the left's scared.

In Closing. This according to my local news sources.

There is a chance Youngstown could host the October debate for the Democratic race for president.Mahoning County Democratic Party Chair Joyce Kale-Pesta confirmed the host city has been narrowed to either Youngstown or Dayton. She said if Youngstown is chosen, the debate would be held at either the Covelli Centre or Youngstown State.

We also reached out to the former Mahoning County Democratic Party Chairman, David Betras, who said the county was ground zero for cross over voters; those who voted for former President Barack Obama and then voted for President Donald Trump in 2016. "It would make a lot of sense if you're the Democratic Party to talk to those blue collar workers that we bled out in 2016," said Betras.

What say you?
