It's not your body. Mom Sues Baltimore School for Implanting Birth-Control in 16-Yr-Old w/o Consent
How many times have we heard that government needs to leave women alone? It's their body. Well not according to Digital Harbor High School. The school forced a 16 year old to get a birth control implant without notifying the parents. What's worse is that Maryland law permits giving minors contraceptives without parental consent. This from the mother.
“They call me for Tylenol, but they don’t call me about birth control,” she told WMAR. “You gave my daughter this insertion so she might be suffering from that, but do they even look at that?”
