As most of you know, today we celebrate Columbus Day. Not Native American Day, or Indigenous Day. Sure some have changed the day name, but why? Columbus Day never was a Holiday about one race conquering another, but some seem to make it that.
It's a celebration of where Europeans found out that there were other people out there beside the Europeans and Orientals. I was told that we all are Native Americans now and I'm all for that.
If the Indigenous Americans want a day of celebration, that's fine. But don't take Columbus Day and make it something that it isn't.
What say you?
